Summary0008200: Elves allow pre-DF14 amount of trees to be cut down.
DescriptionThe elves allow cutting 125-150 trees pr. cycle, this seems to be a left over from the days when a tree = 1 log.

Are you sure? In my fortress, the Elves yelled at me about trees when I cut down no more than 40-50 in a single cycle, absolute max.

 Yeah, I was allowed 146 first time, and a bit less the next few times.

Maybe we could get a few more to give feed-back with the numbers

The elves have consistently offered me agreements to not cut down more than 100 trees, which my duchess then negotiates up into the 120s-130s.

 The actual amount depends on your Noble's level of influence - a happy King with high social skills and a Royal Throne Room will be able to negotiate a higher quota than an unhappy Baron with low social skills and a Decent Office. Of course, due to 0003706 the diplomat might decide to meet with the Mayor instead, resulting in lower quotas.

The Elven Diplomat will yell at you during First Contact if you cut down any trees (and praise you if you didn't cut down any), and it's not until the following year that logging quotas start.
