Summary | 0008420: Leather, Wood, Cloth Items and containers from a reclaimed/retired fortress disintegrate from wear within a few ingame weeks
Description | In my latest world I reclaimed a fortress, played around with it a few years, then retired it and started an adventurer. When I revisited the fortress with my adventurer after a few ingame weeks (I'd guess about 2 or 3), I found all wooden barrels, wooden bins, and any leather, cloth or silk clothing had XX wear marks. When I slept 4 hours in the fortress they had all disintegrated and left puddles of milk and booze behind. Glass, Metal and Stone was unaffected.
Steps To Reproduce | retire a fortress, play around with an adventurer, have some time pass. Simply sleeping in the fortress should work, though I haven't tried yet.

Here's a save with my adventurer at the fortress, with lots of wooden barrels in the top right stockpile at XX. Sleep 1 hour and they will all disintegrate completely. When I retired the fortress a few ingame weeks earlier, everything was stockpiled correctly with no wear. http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=9892 It's from 40.10 though. |
|
A save would be good, preferrably from the most recent version. |

http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=9893 This is the save from dwarf mode just before I retired the fortress, centered in the same room. It's also from 40.10, the version the world was genned in. In the adventurer save I posted earlier there are also two wagons present that weren't before - they seem stuck or something. When I just loaded the save in 40.13 they were gone... |
|
All beds are gone as well! |

Was this fixed with 0009732 and 0009735, or is it a separate issue? |
