Summary | 0008623: Copperhead snakes do not inject venom
Description | When a copperhead snake bites another creature, there is no message that the venom has been injected and it doesn't seem to do anything. It works fine for Giant copperhead snakes and Copperhead snake people though.
Steps To Reproduce | Spawns some copperhead snakes in Arena mode and let them bite something.

This presumably will also affect adders, which are even smaller - The two snakes are so small, their teeth cannot pierce skin (even that of a cavy), only dent it. I believe the next larger snake is the kingsnake. It's not venomous, but could also be unable to pierce skin, so it should be tested. |

Having trained up wrestling with kingsnakes, I can attest that they'll bruise up your face (due to helmets not actually protecting the face), but I'm pretty sure they never drew blood. I also saw a companion of mine get bitten by a rattlesnake, who I thought would die, but nope. Wasn't sure if it was because of the bite not getting through or fast travels insta-heal. |
