Summary | 0008705: Volume setting resets after each start of DF
Description | You need to change volume of music/sound to your preferred values after each start of game because it resets to max each time.
Steps To Reproduce | Start DF Get to volume settings via "Escape" menu Change volume of music to something else than 255/255 Quit DF Start DF Get to volume settings via "Escape" menu Note it is again set to max volume
Additional Information | It doesn't seem to matter if you set volume in from main menu or during actual playing.

The permanent setting is stored in data/init/init.txt. It could be made a little clearer that the in-game volume control is temporary, but I think this is intentional. Feel free to make suggestions on the forums: http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?board=5.0 |
