Summary | 0008712: Cannot successfully suspend part of wall construction if dwarves are already building another part
Description | Tried six different times in various configurations. Not sure that counts as "always" reproducible, but it did reproduce for me without fail. Told the dwarves to build a wall (originally very long, but shorter walls reproduced the error). Let them start building it, then suspended all construction /except/ where construction was currently in process. (So, basically anything that said "inactive" now said "suspended". Anything that indicated it was under construction, I let them finish the construction)... Dwarves would finish that construction, and then move on to construct the suspended parts of the wall as well.
Steps To Reproduce | Start new world, or test on an old one. Embark with or have 20 construction materials. (B)uild (C)onstruct (W)all. Make it 20 long, just for kicks. Set all dwarves to have the mason task (or carpentry, or smithing, whatever is relevant.) Unpause just long enough for the dwarves to start construction. (Q) to set building tasks... Choose every wall that says "inactive", and (S)uspend construction. Unpause game, and watch entire wall be built, suspended parts and all.
Additional Information | If I also suspended something a dwarf was in the process of constructing, that dwarf would stop constructing things. Any dwarf who's job was not suspended continued working as if I had not suspended anything EXCEPT THE PART THE OTHER DWARF WAS WORKING ON. That didn't get built. Tested on walls, floors, up stairs, down stairs, fortifications, and NS tracks. Tested on granite blocks, shale, acacia wood, lay pewter bars. Tested on non-contiguous pieces, mixed-construction orders (walls and floors and stairs), mixed materials (blocks and wood and bars) If the dwarf had the skill tapped to build it, and hadn't had their specific in-process construction suspended, they acted like the rest of the stuff they could build wasn't suspended.
