| Description | So I started up my dwarf fortress and genned a world. I then found a location in which to settle then proceeded to the prepare my embark. When I went to increase or decrease in spending, I found it odd that it would not change. At first I figured maybe the key's had worn out or simply stopped to work. I opened up a notepad and Promptly + and -. Both worked, so genned another world, to have it happen again. I did not see anything on the main bug tracker so I have made a report. | ||||

Do you switch windows by alt-tabbing? When I alt-tab out of DF, it sometimes believes that the alt key is still being held down when I go back. Many keybinds don't work with the alt key held down. If this is the same problem, it's easily fixed: just tap and release the alt key, while DF is your current window. |

Nope, I never alt tabbed out. Went through the whole deal in one sitting. Restarted dwarf fortress ran full-screen and the issue continued. I am on my laptop btw. |

What platform is it? Windows? Linux? Mac? Game sometimes behaves bit differently for those. Are you using any mods? Does that you are using your laptop mean you are not talking about + and - from numerical keyboard but about those between 0 and Backspace? Just trying to get more info. |

yeah the keys between 0 and backspace, they are the ones I normally use for dwarf fortress regardless, and I am using Windows. No mods raw dwarf fortress right from the site. |
