| Description | Hi there. I seem to have tonnes of empty bins littering my fort's stockpiles, yet there are so many spots that could use them in my block, gem, and bar piles. I've tried dumping and refilling, destroying and remaking, but the stockpiles seem to care little that I have empty bins for using. I don't believe I have any reserves set, or have done anything differently that I haven't in the last three years I've played off and on. Are those stockpiles set to use more bins/barrels then they are currently using? See with [q] over stockpile area. |

Reminder sent to: Lyran In the save provided, do you remember if you gave your dwarfs orders to destroy the microcline roads? |

I'm trying to remember how far back that save is. I did set some to be destroyed in order to create a Channel/wall around the fort. EDIT: Yes. Those two microline roads were set to be removed for future renos. EDIT: They did start using the Bins again properly, but it seemed random and far off when they decided to. There was plenty of times where I had over a dozen free workers with no sorting of the bins or blocks being accomplished. So it did sort itself out, but it took a few months in game for them to come around to their senses. |

I asked that question in reference to another bug that was found while reviewing this save. You had quite a bit of hauling going on with all the items being created. I watched for awhile and it appears everything is working as normal (with delays because of the workload). If you find something particular that may have caused it and you can reproduce it, please reopen this report or contact a manager on the forums. |
