Summary | 0008958: Site wildlife is mostly ravens and nothing else
Description | 90% of the time, the creatures wandering around the map in climates other than the arctic and tropical rainforests are ravens, depriving hunters and making the wilderness pretty boring as one flock of idle birds fly off the map only for another to take its place. This happens because BIRD_RAVEN has all the properties of a super-populous vermin bird, but with [VERMIN_GROUNDER] simply replaced with [LARGE_ROAMING]. Where the population number for other "actual creature" birds is around 10 to 30, ravens have 250 to 500 and a [FREQUENCY:100] token that puts its priority ahead of everything else. The simplest fix is to turn it back into vermin with a vermin creature tile (249). It could also be brought in line with the other large birds that have sensible stats and properties - the current raws can't seem to decide which of the two it should be.
Steps To Reproduce | Build a fort anywhere in the raven's natural habitat (temperate grassland, savanna, shrubland, forest and wetlands, tundra and taiga, any desert) and keep an eye on the unit list. You'll see them wander in pretty quick.
