Summary | 0008985: Dwarves seemingly stuck in bunkered mode
Description | I set a bunker and made the mistake of manually assigning dwarves to it, AND setting it as the civilian active bunker in the alerts screen. After ending the alert and deleting the bunker, 17 dwarves refused to leave. I am able to make a new bunker, set the alert, and get those 17 dwarves to move to the new bunker, but that's the only way they'll do anything. They're currently bunkered ON the food/drink stockpile and still starving and dehydrating to death.

You can make burrows that span several levels. Will making of one burrow that goes from corner to corner, from your deepest mines to tips of nearby hills and assigning all dwarves to it help? Note burrow set for active civilian alert should temporarily override all manual assignments to standard burrows. If that doesn't help and you are still unsure what is happening, please upload your zipped region folder with saved game to http://dffd.bay12games.com/ and post a link to it here. |
