Summary0009027: when aborting an embark game crashes.
Descriptionevery time i try to abort an embark to try again with new dwarfs i get a crash. windows pops the message "dwarf fortress.exe has stopped working".

a couple of times the game has crashed after pressing v to view the starting dwarfs profiles.

the same crash and message appears after the fort intro blurb comes up after selecting "start now" on the embark loadout choice screen.
Steps To Reproduceselect start playing then fortress mode then select embark and then attempt to abort from the dwarf menu of prepare carefully.
Additional Informationusing LNP 40 24 r14, a completely clean install with a custom world gen that only changes ore rarity and cave depth and openness.

running win 7 64 on:
I5 3570k OC @4ghz
8gb 1333 ram
samsung 840 ssd
and palit 770 4gb

had a few crashes while using the LNP 40 24 5r however not as frequent or reliable.

i have not tried to create another world to test it, but i have attached the world file, i finaly managed to get a good group so i started out. i dont know how to get just the world file, i assume it becomes the save file so thats what i uploaded.

Since you're on Windows, I assume you're using PeridexisErrant's LNP. Do you have the menu-mouse plugin enabled? It's been known to cause crashes in that screen.

yea im using LNP and im pretty sure i dont have the mouse plug in enabled, i definately dont now and i i dont recall disabling it at any point

There are multiple mouse plugins, and menu-mouse is known to be unstable and cause crashes in that exact screen. (It's also enabled in PeridexisErrant's pack - there's no such thing as "the" LNP, so it's helpful if you can specify which one you're using.) Can you run "enable" in the DFHack console and look for the line containing "menu-mouse"?

Given that there hasn't been any feedback on this, I'd say that the menu-mouse issue was a likely cause. Please reopen this issue if the problem persists, though.
