Summary | 0009279: Lag/slowness/freeze when approaching kobold camp
Description | I already went to this camp and killed a few kobolds and the game run quite smoothly. Then the game froze for a minute, I think it spawned a bunch of turkeys and other wildlife. Every step then took like a half a minute, until I used travel mode to get away from it. I tried approaching the camp again from different directions but the lag hit me every time. According to legends mode, there should be only 9 kobolds in the camp, and I already killed 6 of them.
Steps To Reproduce | Save: http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=11423 Walk a few steps towards north and the game will freeze. When it eventually responds, you can use travel mode to back off from the site and the game runs smoothly again.

Another save for the same kobold camp a few game days later: http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=11436 Move a step towards south and the game will freeze for a minute. Dozens of wildlife creatures appear, fighting with each other. I noticed earlier when spreading rumors/news to hillocks dorfs that there were already dozens of pages of news about animal fights to tell. Are these fights causing the lag? |
