| Description | Presumably our quire is the archaic one. The minimum size of a quire would be one made out of a single sheet, a bifolium. This would produce two physical pages, which could hold four pages of writing. Despite this, scholars seem to be paragons of brevity, producing texts that, when bound as a book, are only a single page long. I do not believe a longer text has been written in my fortress. | ||||
