| Summary | 0009580: Evil Cloud does not cause Syndrome | ||||
| Description | I embarked on an Evil Glacier with "A cloud of haunting gloom has drifted nearby! " that drift by every so often. After having it pass over my stuff, my corpse pile, the wild life, and my dwarves all with no effect. I extracted the procedural raws from the world.sav to look at the clouds actual effect and it should be causing {CE_UNCONSCIOUSNESS, CE_PAIN, CE_IMPAIR_FUNCTION, CE_DIZZINESS} I even used a Civ alert to station the whole fort in the path of the cloud and nothing happened. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Wait for a cloud to drift by (won't take to long) let units get caught by it. | ||||
| Additional Information | Only mod was to add tags to Yeit to make them trainable but this was after the fact. | ||||

I think I have the same problem. Glacier with an evil mist that causes no syndrome that I can see. Corpses, goblins, visitors, or citizens have been through it. Probe shows savagery to be 24, evilness to be 84. A link to the save: http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=11795 |

I tried your save Slashnul and agree the same thing appears to be happening. The Blighted Mist should be causing {CE_DIZZINESS, CE_IMPAIR_FUNCTION, CE_BRUISING, CE_NECROSIS} I have to look further to find it. But I believe I read someplace that the [LOCALIZED] tag in syndromes had an issue? That could be related here. |
