Summary | 0009608: retired inhabited fort consistently freezes game
Description | Longstanding (60-ish years) fort which is currently the mountainhome of the dwarven civilization was retired. As soon as I try to unretire the site, the game freezes on the site selection screen and shortly thereafter crashes. Not only that, the game freezes as well when I try to start a dwarf adventurer from that world (because the only dwarven habitation left for the adventurer to come from is the buggy mountainhome?), or when I start a human adventurer from the human civilization, as soon as I reach the boundaries of the embark square for the first fort.
Steps To Reproduce | Can always reproduce on the original fort I started with. Have not tried building a new civilization into mountainhome to be able to reproduce the bug.

Savefile with the buggy fortress: http://puu.sh/nt5OI/140d1192d4.zip Update - found my autosave backups folders, and by using binary search confirmed that whatever's causing the crash happened between 158-01-01 and 158-04-01, as seen by these two files: http://puu.sh/ntbaK/882685e494.zip (works) http://puu.sh/ntben/6e7075591b.zip (crashes) Moreover, the game still crashes if I abandon the fortress and try to reclaim, instead of unretiring, as well. |
