Summary0000979: Crash on month change
DescriptionI have a save with a consistent crash to desktop upon month change from early autumn to middle autumn.
Steps To ReproduceUn-pause the save and wait until the day ends and tries to cycle to the next month.
Additional InformationWhile I was experiencing several other bugs (vermin corpses not rotting, animals trying and failing to use soap, etc) these don't appear to have been the cause. My amateur opinion is that something went wrong with a migrant wave or perhaps the dorfen caravan.

Also, this was in the middle of my third year.

Do you have a military up? It might be failing when it tries to change to a bugged out training schedule.

If you could post a save that'd be great

http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=2057 for the save, meant to put it in the actual ticket, but somehow forgot x.x

I have a military but had not made any changes to their schedules in some time.

Alrighty, I fixed it, just in case you want to keep on playing that fort. Disabling all the squads was enough to stop the crash.

I'm not sure where it's messing up - normally I like to take a look at these and narrow it down but I am awfully tired. You might want to experiment and see when it crashes vs. what squads you have enabled.

Holy crap, thanks man :) I'll poke around and try to figure out exactly which one it was in the morning.

Just as confirmation here, I had to set all three of my squads to the default 'inactive' alert level. I have yet to try and turn them back on for a different month change for orders, but to note, I'm now well into my fifth year without any other crashes.

Does this still crash in 31.08? I suspect it was due to 0000378.

Loaded this up in 31.12.

Since there was an Arsenal Dwarf, I removed him from office. I made no other changes to the military or settings, etc.

There were no daggers in the stock list. There were no burrows.

This save was suffering from "cancels Clean Self: Area inaccessible" spam - I forbid all the soap and the spam stopped.

At season change from Autumn to Winter, there was no crash and the military continued on its merry way.

Whatever the problem, it appears to have been fixed in previous versions.

EDIT: Appears to have been squad settings, as the error log contained: several messages like "Repairing squad info for Unit #xxxx".
