Summary0009810: Magma-safe containers can not be filled directly from lava.
DescriptionA steel or nether cap minecart used to be a handy way to get 2/7 magma somewhere as an adventurer, and is all the more important now that we can make sites and do things like dam a river by casting obsidian in it.

Previously it was possible to just interact with the cart in your inventory and fill it from a volcano (or handy temple with a lava moat), but as of 43.03 (probably 43.01, I'm pretty sure I could still do it in 42.06) you only get the option to heat it near the lava.

This seems like a bug because if you drop the cart into some and fill it up you can then reach in and grab "a magma" which you can put in another container. Dumping that out then gives a "pool of magma" which you can interact with to fill your cart or backpack or whatever if you felt like it.
Steps To ReproduceObtain any empty container which you can interact with near a body of water and get the "fill from water (some direction)" prompt.

Try to do this near a volcano or other source of lava.

Observe that you only get the "heat near lava (some direction" prompt.

Obtain "a magma" somehow (deconstruct a paved road in your adventurer site, or use a reaction if you want) and put it in a container.

Pour the container out on the ground.

Now try to interact with your container and observe that you get the "fill with magma (some direction)" prompt.
