Summary | 0009815: Crash when moving cursor.
Description | Often times I'll be attempting to build a floor, or a wall, or some other construction (seems to be specifically b > C > anything here), and as I'm moving the cursor to place it, Dwarf Fortress crashes. It's happened in two different fortresses now, and seems to be fairly random, but fairly common. It's happened maybe six times total, and neither of said fortresses are past their first year. It's really disheartening when I forget to save :C (By the way, is it possible you could add a save feature that doesn't send you back to the title screen?) I haven't found a specific spot or reason or time for it to crash. Just seems to randomly happen when moving the cursor around to select a spot to build a floor/wall/ramp etc.

Are you using the TwbT plugin? I know you said you're using 0.43.03, but this sounds similar to a crash that it causes. (The save suggestion should go in the suggestion forum, although I'm pretty sure it's been suggested before.) |
