Summary0009847: Frozen river and snow in hot enviornment
DescriptionRecently I've been exploring a world in adventure mode and observed an anomaly. As I went north, I noticed the temperature turning warmer, yet I was now encountering snow and frozen bodies of water.
Steps To ReproduceGood luck, I've yet to determine if this a new consistent bug, or if it's a random occurrence.
Additional InformationSave included here: http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=12161

My usual Wanderer's Friend derivative was used, along with altering bronze colossi to be playable. This shouldn't have any effect on this issue.

I might be wrong about this, but this may have come about because the bronze colossus isn't a homeotherm. I'm not sure what a creature's core temperature defaults to when it isn't specified in the raws, but my guess is the bronze colossus's is low enough that snow and ice feels hot to it.

At any rate, I retired the colossus adventurer in your save, went to the same spot with a human adventurer, and found that the temperature had become "cold": http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=12167

Oh wow. I was worried that the choice of species would affect the cause of this bug, but couldn't think of any reason why it would affect it. Of all the absurd ways it would affect it... -_-

Sorry about that.
