Summary0011188: Game crashes shortly after loading save
DescriptionI have a fortress that I began building that began crashing roughly around the time I started building bedrooms (but also prior - i began saving very often to work around the problem). At this point, it will crash every time a couple minutes after loading whether I perform actions or not (will stay paused indefinitely).
Steps To Reproduce1) Load game
2) unpause
Additional InformationI tried abandoning the fortress and reclaiming it, but that only hastened the crash.

I began a new game on a large map, long history. It also crashes, but this time while paused. Perhaps it isn't a location-centric problem. Will try smaller maps to troubleshoot.

A bug report that doesn't provide very explicit and repeatable crash inducing instructions nor a save (http://dffd.bay12games.com/, bugged saves) is very unlikely to be useful.

If you're using the 32 bit version of DF you may run out of addressable memory (2 GB). Use the 64 bit version or a smaller map.

It's known there are issues with extremely large embarks. However, you haven't specified embark size either.

There's also a known crash with corrupted visitors. (0010499) But, as PatrikLundell suggested, uploading a save to DFFD will be necessary for further investigation.
