Summary0003950: Drinking beer is not filling, while drinking blood contaminants is
DescriptionI had abandoned my fortress and then I tried to find it as a human in Adventure Mode. I realize that, as of 0.31.17, the NEED for food and drink has been removed. But it is still possible to eat and drink. After finding said fortress ruins, I had her drink some Dwarven Beer and was surprised that she drank the ENTIRE thing without any noticeable effect - not even becoming full. I do not believe this is intended behavior.

In Adventure Mode, I noticed that it merely takes the drinking (that is, (e)at/drink command) of blood contaminants on 3 different body parts or items in order to be too full to continue. Even if it is merely the blood spatter on a single tooth, it basically counts as a full course meal.

In comparison, I had my HUMAN adventurer drink from a barrel of Dwarven Beer and she drank the ENTIRE think without being satiated and without any intoxicating effects.
Additional InformationIs it really a matter of Dwarven Beer being "less filling" ?? I should probably try to repeat this with Dwarven Wine...

Update: I went back and had her drink the Dwarven Wine, as well as Dwarven Ale and other booze. It was the same as before: She drinks the entire barrel, leaving an empty barrel behind. And one barrel alone is not enough to fill her up. However, it does seem that drinking one barrel of booze is about as filling as consuming one "unit" of contaminants (blood or otherwise). On an empty stomach it takes about three units of... pretty much anything.

Contaminants do not give satiation in DF2014, and I can't remember if they could cause any effects in DF2012. (And if they did, whether or not they still do so in 2014)

edit: "satiation" as in doing anything towards your lowering thirst level
