Summary0008946: Game crash at given point in game time
DescriptionMy 1 year old fortress crashes. This crash happends every time 3-4 sec after the last autosave. I use lazy noob pack, and disabling utilities, mods, dfhack etc and changeing graphics does NOT work. I can stay in paused mode forever tho.
I know I might have to abandon my fortress, and I would be ok with that altho I want to save it... But I don't want to risk to run into the same problem again with a new fortress.
Steps To Reproduce1: start game with or without mods
2: play around in pause mode i fear of crash
3: tap space/resume and count slowly to three
4: crash!
Additional InformationI would upload my savefile but I don't know where to find it. In the folder LNP/DF40/data/save there's just one empty folder and one with tons of DATs and txts and graphic images.
While i have decent understanding of PCs, I am a complete noobie to DF so if you wish to help please keep it simple :) Thanks!

Cancel all constructions being built on/in a tree (0008719).

Clarifying:
I'm not constructing anything on top of a tree, not even the ones in the cave complex I discovered.
All dwarves do normal stuff, nothing odd reported in a or r.
my errorlog-document hasn't gotten any new entries since this crash first happened.
I can't get past that part in game time without crashing, no matter how I launch the game. PC restart didn't help either.

Found out a sapling started growing underneath where i planned to make wall. For the time being, I think the problem is solved.

Thanks, so this report can be closed as a duplicate of already known issue.

For next time:
That other folder "with tons of DATs and txts and graphic images" is the right one. It usually has name like "region1" while the empty one is named "current". Right-click the folder, point to "Send to", and then click "Compressed (zipped) folder" (see http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/compress-uncompress-files-zip-files#1TC=windows-7).

You will get something like "region1.zip", zipped folder of one of your saved world. Upload that to http://dffd.bay12games.com/ and post a link to that here.
