| Description | So, among my various adventures, I noticed that some "lairs" of night creatures(hags, etc.) were guarded by floor hatches and covers. By some means, I was able to enter via the ramp beneath that cover(or some lever/pressure plate was activated) and I entered the lair. I soon noticed, however, that there was no way possible for me to escape. I couldn't travel(lair), couldn't escape by the ramp, no visible way to remove the hatch(I assume it was reverted to active covering), and I couldn't even "rest-save"(saving adventurer for later use)! | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Play adventure mode 2. Get a quest about a night creature(or find one of their lairs on your own) 3. Somehow enter the lair 4. Be trapped eternally | ||||
| Additional Information | I did use DFHack the most recent time; however, I have also observed this in vanilla gameplay. Furthermore, this does not apply to ALL of these night creature lairs. There have been many of these (no hatches, though) that I have escaped just fine. | ||||

Have you tried "moving carefully" (alt+numpad) up the ramp in various directions? If the top of the ramp is covered by a hatch, the normal "move" command won't let you cross Z-levels. |

Hm, no. I haven't run across another, though, because of the fact that I simply let that adventurer succumb to starvation. |
