| Summary | 0010238: [POWER] and [MEGABEAST] cause pseudo-deific civilized rules to attack adventurers. | ||||
| Description | I made a creature with [INTELLIGENT], [POWER], and [MEGABEAST]. One of them took over a human civilization in worldgen. I visited the mead hall which they had made the seat of their power. The following exchange occurred: You: "Greetings. My name is Sposmo Mythgilds." The deity draws the 《*copper carving knife*》 with his Left hand. Deity: You are a dangerous animal. You are a pleasure to speak with, but now this stands between us. You assume a submissive posture. The deity misses you! You miss the deity! The deity slashes you in the upper body with his 《*copper carving knife*》, tearing apart the muscle and tearing apart the right lung! An artery has been opened by the attack! There was another noble in the room, seemingly the lord/lady of the hamlet where this took place. And when I came back as another adventurer, the deity slew them, and then turned on my new adventurer. However, the deity didn't seem to attack the other noble when I visited them as the first adventurer. | ||||

I believe this to be related to 0001144 Also the title should say "rulers" not "rules". |

Cause is same as with any bug involving "tame" or "friendly" megabeasts: NIGHT_CREATURE_HUNTER, MEGABEAST, SEMIMEGABEAST, and related tokens automatically make the affected critter MUTUALLY hostile to all creatures lacking the important token. This only only affects "tame" dragons rampaging in your fort but also megabeast rulers attacking you and their fellow subjects, and villagers attacking modded-in megabeast adventurers. I discovered ages ago one time I recreated my DF2012-era exploit of modding bronze colossi to be playable, only to find out everyone freaked out at my mere presence, which to be honest is kinda logical when a giant animated bronze statue just pops in out of thin air inside a house. |
