I experienced a similar problem, but I was in an adventurer-built site. It may be related to saving: I had no problems with the player-built site until after I had saved on the site. The crash is triggered by anything that causes you to leave the fast-travel screen: in my case I first noticed it when I tried building. I'd share my save, but I made the mistake of saving again on the same site. It saved faster than I've ever seen df save before, and now the option to continue playing doesn't even appear in the main menu. I can't start a new game out of the world folder either. |
Reminder sent to: KittyTac Please provide a save where a town or hamlet "always crashes when stopped at." Upload your region folder to http://dffd.bay12games.com/ and post a link to it in the bug report. |
@Dwarfu, it seems to happen only in at least "Small" worlds with long history. That is going to take a while to gn. |
Just to clarify: I lost the old save in a modding accident while I was checking if mods were the problem, they probably weren't, but now the world is lost. Can't reproduce on smaller worlds, will try bigger ones. |

http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=13253 Ok, here's a save. it has a minor OP adventurer creature mod, but it isn't present anywhere else in the world, so it's not breaking anything. |
Please reproduce in an unmodified version of DF. Check with the modding forums for help with modding. Your save is full of modding errors. Check errorlog.txt. |
I removed the creatures that were causing that, and now it spams "Human Monk: site walker could not find walkable area" in errorlog.txt. |
Okay, post a link to a save demonstrating the problem to 0010359. |
