| Description | I sent a squad out on a mission. One militia commander and 4 mercs. Upon return, each merc in turn made their way to the mayor to appeal for sanctuary. Accepting removes them from the militia squad (You can put them right back). Denying the request to one merc resulted in her getting the job 'go to individual combat drill' but she actually walked off the map (through the caverns!). | ||||

| Additional Information | Haven't tried this more than once, but it's been mentioned on the forums. Save attached below has a merc Tod Cituarat who is about to appeal (after she's woken up and had a drink). | ||||

I'm beginning to think that it might be far easier, at this point, for Toady to simply rework the framework for soldiers abroad. Categorizing returned units as New Arrivals seems to have created a veritable cat's cradle of bugs... |
