Summary | 0010498: Cannot designate certain statue design
Description | This is an odd one: I like to use statues of gods in the temples devoted to them, but I've run into the issue in my current save where I try to have statues crafted of one specific deity (Ase the Young Blossom of Yearlings), and just get random statues instead.
Steps To Reproduce | I've tried designating this specific design probably 4 of 5 times (both through the manager and just (d)etails when ordering statues at the workshop, and each time it still creates random statues. Before uploading the save, I also attempted to order statues of my mayor, and those worked just fine.
Additional Information | File found at: http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=13380 Cursor should be over mason workshop (there is a current work order for the mayor statues) (Low FPS warning)

I've tried a few statues and they're making statues of Ase properly, sorta. A couple things come to mind: 1) When making art of a historical figure they'll draw from the history of that figure if there's any available. A lot of the statues have names of people that aren't Ase, but instead are involved somehow with the deity and the descriptions of the statues feature the deity (worshipers of Ase, Ase cursing them, etc.). So the dwarf is making art involving Ase, but annoyingly the statue doesn't feature Ase in its name. A workaround to this, on the image menu, is to "Specify a new image", select the historical figure, and accept to ensure that only that historical figure is depicted. 2) If you're filtering by name the cursor won't actually select what's under the cursor until you move it; it defaults to the first thing in the list of historical figures (in this case, a zombie). |

Thanks kneaugh! Your save has a statue of Kel Seabearded which, if you view the description, is an image of Kel Seabearded embracing Ase the Young Blossom of Yearlings. You can create a statue of Ase only by specifying an image as kneaugh described. |
