I've noticed that several worlds that I've generated have crashed during worldgen, too. It happens most commonly on medium or larger worlds, and is most common when the world has been left to cook for a long time. Perhaps it has to do with a specific type of event that only happens farther on in worldgen?

44.09 this world crashes for me reliably.
It's a modded world, but one which usually works. All the raw changes and stuff are included in the link. Hopefully it's of some use in working out worldgen crashes.

(generate world in advanced worldgen - "Beastly Region - crash test".

Should crash around year 170-180. It's a busy world, so worldgen is a bit slow.
