Summary | 0010635: Military training occurs even through walls
Description | I have two were-dwarves (moose and gila monster, if that matters). In an attempt to keep them around, I isolated them in 4x1 cells with a door and then a constructed wall outside, so in were-form they can't do much except maybe destroy the door. The whole area was designated as a barracks before they were put in and the walls constructed, and the two are in the same squad, and the cells are adjacent. The squad has orders to "train, min 1" x2; in addition to individual drill (which is all I expected), they will sometimes have demonstrations through the wall (which works, and probably shouldn't), and I've caught them at least once attempting to spar (they show the job, but since they can't get to each other, no attacks occur, and no experience is gained). I don't know how long they will spar normally, since the case I observed was broken by the dwarves changing form.
Steps To Reproduce | - designate a barracks that includes both sides of a 1-thick wall, but where internal doors or something else can prevent dwarves from going around the wall - set up a squad with two members, and arrange for them to be in the barracks but on opposite sides of the wall - set the squad to train - wait and watch
Additional Information | completely vanilla install, no utilities used or installed

Interestingly, when trying to diagnose a different issue with this save, I noticed that the error log is growing at rate of about 1K per second (and is now over 16 Megs of disk space), from all of the path-fail messages for the sparring. It looks like every tick produces a fail message from each dwarf. |
