I haven't looked at the save, but this is usually due to one or more merchants failing to arrive at the depot. "Unloading" really just means "We're waiting for everyone to get here". If one merchant died or was scared off en route, the remainder will continue to be "unloading" until it's time for them to leave. |

Not quite. I've had recent caravans where one animal hauling merchant was scared and scuttled the goods, but trade still occurred. However, I think the merchants actually overcame the shock eventually and moved to the trade depot. |

on a distantly related note: today I was under the impression that a wagon passing on a floor block being deconstructed "breaks" the whole caravan, parts of them were allready "unloading their goods" now I have a bunch of wagons standing around, not deconstructable, with actual living horses and humans next to them
luckily I can rollback so I prefer not creating a new bug report if I have no savegame to give |
