Work-order conditions only control when the order will be initiated; once started the work order will proceed to completion without rechecking any conditions. Instead of specifying 10 iron battle axes when greater than 10 iron bars, you can specify 1 iron battle axe when greater than 10 iron bars and have the work order repeat so that the conditions will be checked before each axe is produced. This forum thread is a good introduction to work orders: http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=158287 |
