| Description | The dwarves will pick up a corpse and attempt to entomb it, only to carry it to the coffin and drop the body on the floor, walk away, and repeat. Have tried locking a dwarf inside tomb, destroying and rebuilding coffins, placing coffins elsewhere, with no changes. Stumped. | ||||

Did the corpse belong to a werebeast (0005431), or was it previously reanimated (0010396)? |

I'm seeing the same thing in 44.12 Corpses from reanimating biomes get stuck in a loop. They're carried to a coffin then back to a stockpile then back to a coffin, forever. Corpses that have never reanimated are buried normally. Once a corpse reanimates it can never be buried. You have to dump it and make a slab. This happens 100% of the time. I'm not sure about werebeasts. I can't answer that question. |
