Summary | 0011163: Scrolls dropped by visitors/introducers cannot be hauled due to 'trader' flag being set to true |
---|
Description | Noticed this a while back, but finally investigated using dfhack-- I found out how to resolve. For whatever reason (maybe an adventure mode thing?), scrolls carried by visitors and invaders have the 'trader' flag set, which makes it so that they cannot be picked up by your dwarves.
Since there is no way to 'buy' the item from them and remove the flag, the items just sit there unclaimable forever. Unsetting the trader flag fixes the issue. |
---|
Steps To Reproduce | Find a visitor or intruder who is carrying a book you want, kill them, it drops but does not get hauled, and sits there on the ground for ever. |

Additional Information | Screenshot of the gm-editor flags section of one such scroll, simply unsetting 'trader' flag makes the item haulable again: https://i.imgur.com/eJP4VEA.png |
