| Summary | 0011168: Adventurer missing from Legends on Retire | ||||
| Description | Related to reports 0010364 (Adventurer crash) and 0011164 (confused NPCs). I started an Adventurer at a reclaimed cave. NPCs display the behavior reported in 0001164 and upon retiring, my Adventurer is not listed in Legends mode. It's possibly all related. Or perhaps not. The two saves, from two different worlds linked below display the same issue. The difference being that one crashes on unretire, and the other doesn't. The only difference in settings between the two worlds is that compressed saves was set to off in the save that doesn't crash (coincidence?). | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1) Open either save linked below. 2) Retire adventurer. 3) Check Legends Mode, the adventurer is missing. In the first save, you can also crash the game by trying to unretire. | Additional Information | Modded raws in both versions. Don't normally cause any issues. No DFhack usage. In Save 2, I managed to play an different adventurer who started in a reclaimed cave without any of the above issues occurring. The only difference that I can think of is that the working cave was a full ex-kobold site, while the buggy ones were ex-lairs. | ||||

Having a similar issue with one of my generated party members in 0.47.04. He wandered off at some point and disappeared along with his horse. After retiring, there's a record for my retired adventurer that lists the party member as a companion, but he doesn't have his own historical figure entry. His horse has an entry, IIRC. |
