Do you still see this problem when using STANDARD mode without DFHack installed?

With DFHack disabled, the issue persists: 2D works, STANDARD does not.

I then downloaded vanilla dwarf fortress (no dfhack, no LNP), but in vanilla, the issue also exists:
- 2D works
- PARTIAL:0 and STANDARD leads to green horizontal bars that flicker.
- FRAME_BUFFER leads to static green horizontal bars (like the image in original post).

Not disabled. Actually try a vanilla, non-LNP, Dwarf Fortress.

I did, the problem also exists in vanilla dwarf fortress.

Is there a combination of graphic settings that I could try out?

Is there actually anything technical that can be changed in the game to make unknown Intel driver updates automatically not make Dwarf Fortress stop working on a handful of computers? Seems an impossible to solve bug.

Maybe, it really depends on the nature of the update (deprecation of api?).
For now, the solution is to revert to the old graphics driver.

It looks like I am really the only one having this issue, so let's close this one and treat it as something random.
