Summary0011660: Drunk dwarf falling over a lot in tavern counting as combat resulting in job cancellation spam
DescriptionSo there was a carpenter in my tavern who seems to have gotten drunk (I believe? Didn't check the wounds section because it didn't occur to me to do that sorry) and started falling over a lot. The game registered it as combat, with him dramatically yelling about retreating and getting up and me getting a combat report about it. (The game did not tell me he fell down but I assume this is the case because the game spammed him yelling about how he must retreat and then getting up. He yelled about retreat over 84 times once before getting up.) The dwarves around him proceeded to cancel their jobs all the time (saying they were "interrupted by carpenter") and spam me with announcements. The weird part is that I didn't get a combat report about him attacking people, just screaming about retreat and getting up.

I don't know if this is a bug or feature but its really weird either way.
Additional InformationI later found him dead in the middle of the tavern's alcohol pile, I assume the the tavern keeper made him drink to death and he was merely drunk that one time. Justice screen showed me histories of disorderly conduct but didn't record the person who did it or the day it happened, just the affected parties, leading me to assume that those reports were for something else.

I fixed the problem by sticking him in the military.

Regardless I don't think a drunk dwarf falling over on his own should count as combat and neither should he be doing it a billion times. Thats the bug.

It sounds like the dorf went into a drunken fight and either was knocked down by someone he attacked or missed an attack and fell. This is assuming the dorf didn't actually tantrum, with the same results.
Failure to get up sounds like either injuries or exhaustion if others aren't attacking him but rather trying to keep their distance.
