Summary | 0012011: Conditioned Work Orders not Deactivating
Description | (Update at the bottom) Hi, thanks for reading! I've been having a ton of fun with DF, but I've started consistently running into an issue where conditioned work orders will refresh and remain active despite unmet conditions (unless I've drastically misunderstood something). The game seems to recognize that the conditions are unmet, yet the task will remain active, and even refresh itself. In this case, my dwarves developed an unchecked passion for coke production: https://gyazo.com/24d4f2915447e993d804cd5032cd02dd As you can see in the top left, the task is active, despite an unmet condition. I made sure to let enough time pass for the condition to be checked several times with several hundred coke recognized in stockpiles. Some kind steam users helped me find a temp fix that I'll link to in case any of the extra detail there is helpful! https://steamcommunity.com/app/975370/discussions/0/5792223132450201685/ Deleting and remaking the order seemed to fix it, though doesn't prevent the issue from reoccurring. Every food or drink production in each of my forts ends up behaving like this very quickly, as well as orders to melt metal items. The coke issue in particular has not reoccurred, nor has it ever happened to orders that create singular items like furniture or weapons (that I have observed). Restarting the game does not fix the weird behavior. This appears most reliably with food and drink production orders: I've had to remake those orders several times, and reliably they start behaving this way after a couple ticks of normal, regulated behavior. My food/drink orders existed like this for in-game years before (and after) I noticed this is what was happening, and that it didn't seem like it was supposed to be. Let me know if I can toss any extra info in, thanks for the time!
