Summary0012097: FPS drop possibly linked to multiple layers of evil rain
DescriptionI embarked on a Haunted Glacier and had some nasty stuff raining. I was on a 1x2 embark with 30 dwarves and had an FPS of 40 after 5 years. I retired the fortress due to a few issues that were unrelated, but when I re-embarked my FPS shot straight up to 120fps (which is my max fps in my settings) and all of the nasty goop was gone. I was able to see great FPS on my embark with a few rainstorms, only dipping as low as 100FPS. DFHack had a utility that would clean up all the goop, and there's a chance that a potential fix would involve limiting the "goop" stacks to 1 per tile. I wish you the best of luck in figuring out this FPS issue, it should be easy to test if you have nasty weather out there. Try it on a glacier! Good luck
