Summary0012128: Crash on save during "Preliminary cleanup" step
Description*Description:* I have a fortress where I've punched through to the caverns
and fungus has begun spreading in the hollowed areas of my soil layer(s).
Once I was satisfied with the amount of fungus in a staged underground
pasture area I wanted to use, I began moving livestock from the surface to
their new underground location.

I'm not sure why this is happening, but after I move the livestock
underground (it doesn't matter if I move ALL of the livestock or just a
couple of animals), the game consistently crashed for me during the
"Preliminary cleaning" step. I've also noticed that that step doesn't seem
to show up on saves if I haven't moved the livestock, yet.

*DF Version:* 50.04 (Premium)

*OS:* Windows 10; Version 21H2; OS build 19044.2364

I tried zipping and attaching the entire directory for my latest,
pre-livestock-move save but its too big for gmail so Google put it up on
Google Drive:
 no underground pasture wahh.7z
<https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Fh_KnhwMHeMszmaL4DP0rGLh1Pv1qc25/view?usp=drive_web>
The elevation level the underground pasture is on is Elevation 37, big
empty area full of fungus on the top left I've tried moving the animals in
smaller groups, but it seems that as soon as there are a couple of animals
moved to the pasture (the dwarves have physically move them there AND
released them), the game will crash on the next save on the cleanup step.
This will not happen if the dwarves are still in the process of moving the
livestock (i.e. when they're still handling them, even if they're
physically in the pasture). I've also noticed that if I haven't moved any
of the animals yet (even if the order has been issued), the "Preliminary
cleaning" step gets skipped.

I'd also like to note that I am not providing the errorlog.txt file because
there is nothign being written to the file upon this specific crash. I am
also not including stderr.txt because that file is consistently empty.

Thank you!

Followup from reporter:

I think the movement of the animals downstairs was a red herring. I just
managed to crash the game again during a save without having moved any
animals or issued any orders to move them.

Things to potentially note: I go through my livestock and find ones with
bad attributes (frail, weak, recovers slowly, etc) and I will mark them for
butchering by changing their names to "BCH {bull, cow, etc}" - not sure if
that's contributing to an issue for the cleanup step during save, but it's
something i do personally which would differentiate this save from any
other given player's, potentially. Alternately, I'm not sure if it's
something going on during this time of year in-game...
