| Description | Playing in the Adventure Mode beta on Steam, I encountered an apparent issue initiating conversations with individuals after being able to successfully do so at the start of my run as that character. I was playing a grasshopper man in a human hamlet, had made small talk with a few other villagers, gathered rumors and such with no apparent issue before exploring the hamlet. After a certain point, I noticed I could no longer either right click on characters or press 'k' to initiate conversations with anyone in specific. I was able to start shouting and hold conversations that way, but otherwise had no way of targeting specific individuals. The only thing i can point toward as a possible cause is the only thing I actually did in between those states: while exploring the town, I climbed up some buildings and onto their roofs and jumped around from roof to roof until finally returning to the ground. While on top of buildings, I was able to overhear people talking as if I was in the same building as them. When I returned to the ground and tried to start a conversation with a human trader, I found I wasn't able to do so with them or anyone else I had previously talked to. I tried starting another animal character in a human hamlet in a freshly created world to see if I could reproduce the bug, but was unable to do so. | ||||
