Summary | 0012823: Dwarves rather sleep in the dirt than in designated bed
Description | I tested this in a new fortress. I only have 3 bedrooms set up so far. So I tried to switch owners around to give each of the starting seven a designated bedroom when they need it. One of my dwarves (Mebzuth) just woke up after sleeping - as planned - in one of the 3 rooms. Upon waking, I redesignated that room to Rovod. The save is taken exactly at that time with the redesignation being done. Rovod does NOT have the hunting labor enabled. Exactly 13 ticks later, Rovod finishes his current job and wants to sleep. Although he now has a designated bedroom with a comfy bed, he decides to use the dirt floor in his workshop and then complains about it. This sounds like a bug to me since Rovod should have used his bed instead. The distance to the bed is not that long either. Possible explanations that I can come up with: - the game did not yet register the redesignation since it only had 13 ticks to do so. - Rovod was so tired that he decided to fall asleep on the spot Since the game does not tell me why a dwarf with a designated bedroom sleeps on the floor, I regard it as a bug.
Steps To Reproduce | Redesignate a bedroom from one dwarf to another shortly before the second dwarf wants to sleep.
