| Description | My fortress has two moose calves, one male, one female. In the mother's Relations tab, her son's icon is an adult bull moose instead of a calf (see first picture). When checking the citizen information menu, the male calf's icon is an adult bull moose, and the female calf's is an adult cow moose (see second picture). Reproducibility is "sometimes" because sometimes, family members won't show up in a animal's Relations tab, as is the case with the female moose calf (see third picture). | Steps To Reproduce | 1. Tame a breeding pair of moose. 2. Wait for them to have a child. 3. Check the Pets/Livestock tab in the citizen information menu. 4. The moose calf's menu icon will be an adult, not a calf. | ||||

Relations only show up if the creature is a histfig, so I'd say it's working as intended and not related to the reported issue. The trained moose that bonded with your trainer became a histfig when the bond was formed, thus any children it has after becoming a histfig become histfigs as well. Children or parents before it became a histfig wouldn't be listed. |
