Summary | 0013239: dorfs get stuck as if they forgot how to path, then terrain changes around them at some point prompt them to move
Description | In the fort I have been playing for the recent few weeks I noticed that I sometimes get a lot of job item delivery cancelled messages and notice that the dorfs are standing around with "no job" for long periods of time. If I then start deconstructing terrain around them, eventually they remember how to path and run to go sleep, eat, drink or whatever. The terrain that I am deconstructing is not preventing access to the rest of the fort, they are sometimes just standing around near where other dorfs are running around. Similarly, everywhere in my fort should have access to "chert blocks". However, if I try to construct anything "close to" or "near" where the "no job" dorfs are standing around, then similarly I don't find the chert blocks in the list, because in that location, somehow chert blocks are not available. Only whatever stones are lying around "nearby" appear in a short list. I've seen this around certain workshops too. Dorfs will be running around near the shop, but the shop itself does not have access to items that are "not very far away". I'm not sure how to describe this better, sorry.
Steps To Reproduce | In my fort, just do stuff build, mine &c. and after some time it may happen again.

This sounds like "levelmap" corruption, as previously reported in 0012894 (which should've been fixed in version 51.11 when it got extended to 32 bits). Rather than digging out a new tile, you should also be able to fix it by locking and unlocking any door within your fortress (or by pulling a lever linked to a floodgate, bridge, grate, or bars). |

Thanks for the work-around; confirmed it works. |
