Summary0001342: Dorfs get scared when hauling Goblin Thieves
DescriptionAssigning a caged Gobo Thief (snatcher) to a different cage leads to a dorf running up to him, releasing him to haul him to the specified cage and then getting scared and running away, leaving the Gobo to run free.

This only seems to happen with Goblin Thieves. Invaders of all races don't generate this problem and you can transfer them between cages with no problems.
Steps To Reproduce1) Build a cage trap
2) Catch a Goblin Thief
3) Build an empty cage and try to assign the Gobo Thief to it, watch as it scares the dorf and breaks free
Additional InformationThere also seems to be some issue with dorfs spamming "Need empty cage" when hauling hostiles between cages. They announce the problem but then go and do it anyway.

Ah, unexpectedly found confirmation for the phenomenon I just reported on in an existing bug report. "Need empty cage." As noted, it has nothing to do with vermin-caging "bugs."

I believe this behavior also occurred in 40d.
