| Summary | 0001349: Bug tracker requires log in to view bugs | ||||
| Description | The bug tracker requires a user to log in before they can view and search for bugs. This is a deterrent to reporting because I user will go to the bug tracker to see if a bug they have found has been reported. When they see the registration requirement they decided to just forget it. This is extra likely for users who are worried about spam. Obviously a user must register before they can report bugs. This is unavoidable. However the bug tracker should be welcoming instead of just putting up a login screen. | ||||

While it sounds like a suggestion, I agree with what you're saying here. |

I left this open in case there'd be productive discussion here, but there hasn't been, so I suggest you start a thread about this in DF General Discussion instead. http://www.bay12games.com/forum/index.php?board=2.0 |
