| Summary | 0001354: Make help and game screen viewable at the same time | ||||
| Description | Because Dwarf Fortress is very complex the user will often be using the help system when they are learning to play. However if they are very deep in a help menu they cannot quickly apply that information to the game and then move back to the help. This makes help less useful. Two solutions to this are: 1. Allow help to be opened in a separate window. This dosen't work well for full screen play. 2. Add a help section to the the main game screen. This way in addition to the current, game view, hot-keys, and mini-map windows there would be a help window that could be repositioned. Its visibility could also be turned on and off with the <?> This might be controlled a setting some where. | ||||
