Summary | 0001408: move/station order makes soldiers spread in an unusable pattern, too wide basically
Description | When using the squad-menu move-command, half my squad will typically set up outside some walls or in the next room, spreading as far as roughly 7x7 tiles around the designated tile.
Additional Information | no burrows used oh, and they also pile on top of each other, like 2 north of the walls, on top of each other, 2 south of the walls, on top of each other, 2 in the center on top of each other...aso

They seem to ignore z-levels too. I'm having a ridiculously hard time stationing my marksdwarves on my battlements, even if I specify burrows. |

This happened in 40d also. The workaround in 40d was to make lots of single person squads. Don't know if that works here or not. Then the dwarfs all stand on the exact same square and you get a gattling gun like effect. It is pretty cool to watch! |
