| Description | I had a quest to kill a dragon with 72 kills to its name. When I found it the speech window came up, I got the following: The dragon Thabost Goldenjewels the Torrid Taxes stands before you: "Thabost Goldenjewels the Torrid Taxes", Dragon: ... "Thabost Goldenjewels the Torrid Taxes", Dragon: ... (slew Estrur Glowvice) "Thabost Goldenjewels the Torrid Taxes", Dragon: ... (slew Mato Flyplague) That is WYSIWIG, ellipses and parentheses. An earlier confrontation with an elf princess just provided the standard "Prepare to die!" line with no apparent errors, so this may be limited to just dragons, just megabeasts, or just those with kills. | ||||

Dragons cannot speak. The same thing happens with hydras and bronze colossuses (colossi?). |

Dragons are megabeasts and thus have a "reputation". However, they lack the "Can Speak" tag so their challenges show up as "..." I'm going to say "not a bug", especially since this has been present since the last version, too (if I remember correctly!) |
