According to 0001388, even melting metal items can cause a crash. Do you have a save that reliably reproduces the crash within a reasonable period of time? If so, please upload it to http://dffd.wimbli.com/ |

That depends on your definition of "reliably" and "reasonable". |

Well, you should probably upload the save in any case, but it'd be cool if you made an effort to narrow it down first. The first thing I'd try is seeing if it still crashes when you disable melting entirely. If not, then try to figure out which particular melt item causes the crash. |

It seemed to crash while I was melting down a bronze harp. |

Excellent. If you can get a save right before they melt the harp, and upload it, that'd be awesome. Incidentally, was the harp spattered with anything? You can view the item ('k' -> Enter) to see what it's spattered with. |
