| Description | I noticed that when viewing the description of a dwarf, hair color is frequently not mentioned. Further investigation revealed that this happens when the dwarf in question has the hair style 'clean shaven.' The problem is, dwarves have beards. Toady even has a 'add brackes here to give female dwarves beards' thing in the dwarf raw. The description spends multiple lines describing the style of beards and whatnot only to leave you wondering what color all that hair is. | ||||

Apparently, anything shaven causes that dwarf's hair color to be omitted, even it it's only the sideburns that are shaven and the dwarf has very long hair. |

When I first read this, I thought it was a feature, but yes, unless a dwarf has everything (and I mean everything) shaven, color should be provided. |

This is not an 'always' bug. Here is a screenshot of a clean-shaven dwarf with hair color mentioned. http://fuzzrug.com/uploaded/femaledave/cleanshaven-haircolor.png Version information: 34.11, Lazy Newb Pack v15 (before LNP started including binary patches). The only dwarf modification in the game this sshot is from in was changing every occurrence of BY_CATEGORY:HEAD:EYELASH to BY_CATEGORY:EYELID:EYELASH . |

Toady did that eyelash fix (0006069) for 0.40.05, and this also fixed this bug. |
