Summary0001598: Enemy squads will never abandon their caged leader
DescriptionIf the "leader" of an ambushing squad (IE: the sole human along with his goblin minions) is captured in a cage trap, his goblins never leave him and just stay near the cage.
Steps To ReproducePlace cage traps, catch the leader, watch the squad stop in place.

Actually, they do abandon him or her and run if enough time passed (and possibly enough of them got captured or killed as well). I had a "siege" last for almost a year with just a bunch of swordsgobbos hanging around the cage with their squad leader in some corner of the map, while life went on quite splendidly for the Dwarves in the other corner and underground. Finally, two of them followed a cat into other traps, and the remainder fled.

This sounds like the reason I always have one siege squad standing around by my initial defenses even after the rest are all wiped out further into the fort. The first traps are a line of cages and the goblin sergeants like to run ahead of their squads.. maybe I should get rid of the cages til this is fixed.

I have caged three goblins and 21 more are now just standing around. It seems like this reported issue.
